So they loved Lynch, but the compensation for moving up 4 spots was too rich for their blood to get their next franchise QB they wanted so bad...

Oh.
Okay.

Also, we could just as easily use Dorsey's quotes as evidence to the contrary.

Again, all this is so conflicting, to say one thing is true and the other isn't is illogical. Nobody knows, therefor I'm not going to speculate.

JFC you're an idiot. Completely missing my point.

Yes, you can like more than one player.

But, if you're trying to trade up, it's not for more than one player. It's for your guy, because he's falling. What the **** are you not getting?

You can't trade up for both.

Posted my grades in the draft forum before I saw this post... Overall, gave it a B-

Liked Jones, Russell, Murray, Hogan, and White
Meh on Ehinger and Robinson
Didn't like Hill or Nicolas

Not going to re-post, just gander over there and read it I guess.

Here's the facts.

Denver made a trade offer.
KC knew that offer and passed on trading up for the pick .

Translation : not sold on a QB enough to move up 4 spots.

Instead - they saw more value in trading down and still walking away with a pick in the 2nd that scouts said if Jones came out after his senior year would be a top 10 pick.

I think I have that right?

Dorsey knew he was going to have to trade up for ANY of the guys he wanted. Tried for Treadwell. He got picked, so he tried to get another one.

Be assertive and get a guy you love or trade back and get another guy who you really like.

We traded back after Horseface ****ed John Dorsey in the ass again

The last couple times a team jumped the Chiefs in the first round to take a QB because it was rumored the Chiefs were interested didn't work out too well for them.

Yes I know what you're going to say..Miller is a moron. I didn't trust that either. Then Adam Schefter said on ESPN right after Lynch was picked that us and Dallas really wanted the guy and tried to trade up.

But let me guess: Adam Schefter is a moron and he doesn't know anybody or anything. You know more than him, amirite?

Schefter is a puppet of Denver.

But hey, if it makes you makes you feel better that the Chiefs were interested in a guy that has NEVER taken a 3, 5 or 7 step drop in his entire career, dating back to junior high, then so be it.

Exactly this, if they viewed lynch as their QBOTF then they would've made it happen.

People think because Dorsey talked about Jack that he wanted him. That's silly. Dorsey's a smart mother****er and wouldn't do that the night before they were hoping to land him. I just don't buy that one.
