Arrowhead not yet sold out for a playoff game. Dirt cheap tickets available.

I know we have won 4 playoff games since we won the Super Bowl in 1969. 48 long years. Lost 5 straight home playoff games.

All that being said, what's the deal? Tennesse isn't a great team. Should be a good day at Arrowhead.

Locals give me the 411, what's up with the fans. Why the lack of interest?

If we lose to Tennessee tomorrow, it would make me go from 90% believing we're cursed to 100%.

I can't truly believe the Chiefs are playoff cursed until they've really blown it with a real QB.

Sure Trent Green in 2003, but that was the worst Chiefs D of nearly all-time. The last time before that they were on the AFC Championship game.

Fortunately we finally learned.

I'm not going to lie, I had more motivation to watch Mahomes play.

Glancing at Stubhub, prices seem to be rebounding. Hopefully that’s a good sign.

Since we have only played in ONE AFC championship game since 1970, let me run off a list of QBs that have played in the game since 1990 and tell me if you would consider them "real QBs"

Jay Schroeder (Raiders)
Neil O'Donnell (Steelers)
Stan Humphries (Chargers)
Trent Dilfer (Ravens)
Jim Harbaugh (Colts)
Vinny Testaverde (Jets)
Mark Sanchez - twice! (Jets)
Kordell Stewart (Steelers)
Jake Plummer (Broncos)
Joe Flacco - 3 times! (Ravens)

The point of the list is that the "real QB" argument is legitimate to explain the lack of Super Bowl wins, but their is no valid explanation to explain the Chiefs lack of reasonable success in the playoffs. We are only talking about advancing to the AFC championship! The teams above prove it can be done with stiffs to borderline stiffs. We all know we have had collective teams that top to bottom were good enough to play in that game. What gives?

We need excellent QB play to mask the fact that we seem to have no idea how to build a well-rounded squad, or all of the good players drop like flies when it counts.

When's the last time we've actually had a balanced squad, and not balanced because both sides sucked shit?

Cheating. League bias. Las Vegas mobsters. Dirty hits that go uncalled. League marketing fixes. Bought-off refs. Salary cap cheating. Videoing. Coach standing on the sidelines blocking our returner.

This situation actually makes it pretty easy. If we win, we overcame a lot of evil forces. If not, well, you can't overcome so many evil forces.

1991 Divisional: They had Kelly and we couldn't stop them
1993 Divisional: We won with Montana
1995 Divisional: Kicker missed three FG. Defense held opponent to 10 points. Bono and Elliot were terrible.
1997 Divisional: Lost to cheater, SB Broncos. Refs may have had effect on outcome. Defense showed up though.
2003 Divisional: Terrible defense vs. Manning is not a recipe for success
2015 Divisional: Too many injuries, close loss to Brady and co.
2016 Divisional: Got dominated in the trenches. Felt lucky to even be close. Haley play calling kept us in the game.

That's my rundown of KC divisional performance. Still pathetic to never have a team capable of wining one. I feel like 1995 was the most inexcusable.
