I think most people assumed $65k raise was like some big 25% bump so new salary of at least $300k or something. Still weird to come here bragging but regardless that would be a substantial raise. This new information though, I don’t know, maybe should have left that out.

Paid $5K / month = $60 K annualized.

Why are you all doing mental gymnastics for simple math.

LOL, have you ever considered you might be part of the issue?

The common theme to these threads is, the consensus is shit is poorly stated by you (and not just "your haters"), whether it's needing icons or bragging about raises... then as people ask clarification you call them dumb.

If your contact was only 5 months before, it's not a "$65k raise" to simply sign a longer contract. It might look braggier, but that's like saying I'm getting paid 4 times more next year than I did in Q4 this year.

In a like-for-like contract, your raise was $27k... of course they're paying you for the extra months, too, lol.

No need.

I pay nothing for great healthcare that will end next June. It was a lucky fluke how I wound up with it 4 years ago and they let me carry it during COVID. I will need to verify info thta will disqualify me.

I have a 401K (retirement account) for years that was rolled. Still even have stock in it from my 3 1/2 year at Amazon.

I have no debt and low bills. 5K works fine but 10.5k works great
