Yep, if he had been released, the Browns probably would have snagged him and if he was an immature nutcase in Cleveland, he'd be released again.

It's pretty clear that the Chiefs and Rams are doing this trade "By the book".

It would super easy for either team to leak the details of the trade to an established reporter or even the NFL Network but neither team has done so to date.

Keep in mind, the Chiefs were slapped with the loss of a 3rd round 2016 pick and a 6th round 2017 pick after they "tampered" with Maclin.
