You know, I've thought about it, and one kinda important thing we'll want Mahomes to own is his number. You don't want a situation like #12 where every great QB and their mother wears it. We want new QBs coming into the league on different teams who decide to go with 15 to have to receive scrutiny from people who say, "Oh, you're picking Pat Mahomes' number? That's awfully presumptuous of you..."

Like QBs who might wear 16. Or 13. Or (unfortunately) 18. Mahomes is going to be on that list. Right now the only dude in his way is Bart Starr who also had 15. Unless you're on a dairy farm outside of Fond du Lac, that won't be any trouble for Mahomes to take out.

That's great to hear! What about Kpassagnon? How did he look?

Didn’t get all that much time with the first bunch despite the top 3 DEs being out today.

In the few reps I watched him, especially 1v1, I didn’t see a huge difference from previous years.

ooooo we play Pitt next week

Even though it's vanilla, that should be a pretty good test for our d.

If the D sucks, then it's because the D playcalling was vanilla.

If the D is good, then it's because the O playcalling was vanilla.

I really hate the vanilla argument.
