It's all about the offensive line.

Seriously. We cannot run block. We cannot pass block. We cannot hang on to the ball, so our defense tires and gives up big plays.

No skill position player is going to amount to squat when the line is that bad.

People want to take a safety in the top 3? Really? What good is that going to do? We'll lose by 20 instead of 30, I guess.

This line needs a complete and total overhaul. That's as bad of a line as I've ever seen. A complete abortion.

Waters is just as bad as all the rest at this point in his career, too. the ONLY (kind of maybe) bright spots today were Barry Richardson's mediocre to fair job at LT and Smith at C did fair. The rest have no place on an NFL field.

If they are smart in this draft we could get 4 really good players with our first 4 picks on defense. Its that deep of a draft.

Which still leaves us 2 or 3 short on defense... and with a crappy offense to boot. Long haul ahead of us that could have been shortened up by at least a year with wiser decisions 9 months ago.

LT's get in there and play. That he has to learn the position at the NFL level is ****ing stupid. We have a potential Pro Bowl level guy that is inclined to play the LG spot, but, no...**** me...don't think about drafting the best LT guy because our OL play is stellar and doesn't need an upgrade at every ****ing position and we could make Albert a top flight LG immediately is reeruned.
The reason that Albert was dominating is because Al Groh's system had him pulling and moving in space.
Alberts isn't weak, but he's not a road grader, and he would be a fair guard, but he would in no way be a dominating one.

The fact is, he was square pegged as a guard in colleg.

Albert, before he got all twisted up with learning technique and losing weight, had the most fluid, graceful feet that I've seen.

If the Chiefs don't give up on him at LT, when he gets it together, he'll be a dominating LT for the next 10 years,

He wil never be a dominating guard.

Okung is better suited to play guard than Albert.

I wouldn't pick him in the 3rd round to play LT.
