This defense and the lack of consistency in play calling over 4 quarters will lead to a disappointing end to the season. This team is so talented but it’s mostly on one side of the ball.

How many dropped TD passes did Houston have? Score should have been worse. Even with Mahomes and some skilled position talent on offense, you still can't win in this league if you get dominated in the trenches. We're still going to win the division, but have no chance to make playoff noise unless Mahomes, Fisher, and Watkins are 100%. And then we will only have a puncher's chance -- the D isn't going to markedly improve. Disastrous off-season moves. Total disaster.

Who in KC has the guts to bench Mahomes when he is injured. He is not going to get better if he keeps playing hurt. Look at his efficiency after the ankle tweaks the last two weeks. He is awful. He is not MVP Mahomes. He is QBR 27th in the NFL with a bad ankle. That isn't his fault. The team needs to know how to handle him.
