So i get you point, and I get the relative percentages, but it's pretty unfair to put it on one guy if "you're being fair."

As for the officials, let everybody complain all they want because like the sun rising in the east, they are NEVER questioned by anybody but the fans who can't do a thing about them. Certainly "if" the league does anything to them, or they have what's reported/claimed to be some form of review/peer-review process, it's such a tightly held secret that not even the NSA can break into it and figure it out. All the teams have ever seen are the weekly "too late" apology letters that mean nothing after the fact. So let us bitch, it's not hurting your official buddies, they just laugh and keep doing whatever they damn well please/are told to do.
That's disingenuous at best. Players and coaches rarely question refs publicly because they're fined. The way they can question/point out ref failings is by sending in particular calls to the league offices, and that happens all the damn time. There was an article a few weeks ago (I wish I could remember where it was published) but it said that refs were receiving downgrades much more frequently this year because of all the terrible officiating. I think it was Steratore who was quoted as saying "there goes the Super Bowl" because he got 2 in one game. Leavy should get about 20 and an aids blanket, because he's actually changed the outcome of the AFC playoffs this year

I think Chase and Andy need to split snaps in practice. If we get into a situation where we need a QB who has to throw accurate passes, I think Chase might need to be called into service. I'm still wondering if he would have done even better (or worse) behind the #1s...

I'm critical of the lack of PA on first down in the 2nd half. However, I have no knowledge of what their scouting report detailed, how much they stuck to it or not, and haven't re-watched the game.

Other than that, this was a fine game. You were able to rest starters, get reps for others, and despite the loss build confidence in knowing your backups essentially played a playoff game in OT with a team that beat Denver on the road.

Agreed. You can't possibly criticize Andy today. If it wasn't for our choking kicker, this was a win (not to even mention the reffing in OT).

LOL, I've heard the same thing, but it amounts to getting to question your sentence after you get out of jail and have served the full sentence. And I'm actually not convinced that the Chiefs "do" that.

And I'm not convinced "questioning a ref" means a fine. From podium, directly saying it was a bad call, might, but creaming at an official during the game seems to be as legal as the offensive line holding. Watch Manning, Brady, Rivers, and any number of "5-Hour-Energy" head coaches, and you'll see they may not get "that" call, but the officials sure know they've ****ed up. I rarely see that out of the Chiefs, and I don't think I've seen Andy light into an official on the sideline. A gentle discussion doesn't count.

And if all their bad calls ever get them is a non-trip to the playoffs/super bowl, so what?

But I'd love for you to find the link (and I do belive you), and I hope it has a link to the "running score" each crew/official has on him. If not, what does it really matter. It's got to be public, at least somewhat as public as the officials reviews of the players we suffer each week, to be worth a shit. If it's private, it's junk!

Well I'll give And y credit for having the backups ready to fight. They played well. But I thought the play calling was too bland in the second half. How many times we seen this team run on first down just about every time in the second half? Thwy were too predictable on offense in the second half.

Absolutely... i don't normally believe in moral victories, but this was definitely one.

It didn't have a running count sadly. It was more of a discussion about the closed door meetings officials have to do for their weekly reviews.

anyone have a GIF of the fumble?

I was on the way home and missed it.

And living in San Diego - I'm actually getting crap from these half-tards!

Seriously? You beat a practice-squad team in OT.....in a do or die situation....in your own house! (and apparently needed a little help from the refs too!)
