Season starts tonight with Knicks and Celtics followed by Lakers and TWolves.

Will history be made early in the 2nd game?

I actually watched an NBA game to see the Pacers kick the Knicks' butts. Also to see the the last TNT NBA game with Harlan. The after-show was pretty good.

I've been watching Inside since the 94-95 season. It really stinks to see them move/change, but at least the group is still together.

And Dirk and Kidd and Marion and Chandler and Terry and Peja and Butler.

There’s a reason that team beat the Durant/Westbrook/Harden/Ibaka Thunder in 5 games in the West Final and it wasn’t because that Thunder team was bad.

The narrative that the 2011 Mavs were somehow deficient was built up by those in the interest of preserving MJ’s legacy and damaging LeBron’s as much as possible.

Terry was good the rest were jags at that point. It was just an all time great run by Dirk as he channeled his inner Larry Bird. The one that was the most embarrassing for LeBron was the Spurs blowing them out by 20 4 times in 5 game in 2014.

Nonsense. Dirk was 6th in the MVP race that year and still very much one of the top players in the league.

It makes for a nice narrative to take shots at LeBron but a bunch of JAGs didn’t beat Durant, Westbrook and Harden in 5 games the round before that.

The 2014 Spurs (with Duncan, Kawhi, Ginobili and Parker) were also an insanely good team that were favored going into that series (-125) so that one makes even less sense.

Dirk was a disgrace to basketball.

Big dumb oaf. Basically got 70% of his points on the one dumb shot.

Embarrassing.

Towns didn’t run back on defense after a miss like 10 times last night despite being the last man back. Led to so many free baskets for the Pacers.

You can’t win with this guy ultimately.

The internet content is incredible.

I hope he plays on a contender for the rest of this career.

A mid range king with his back to the basket, I thought you loved mid range shots with SGA.

I suspect the Knicks (and a lot of other teams) are going to be making a play for Durant this summer. KAT may get moved.

I said Dirk put on an all time performance. But Lebron was terrible averaging 17 a game in the finals including an 8-point game.

Great Spurs team no doubt, but the games were over at halftime in games 3-5. It was an embarrassing performance by Lebron's super friends' squad in that one.

I didn’t say anything about LeBron being bad by his standards. He was, which is why it’s the only mark that has ever been able to be used against him. It is complete revisionist history to suggest that Dallas wasn’t any good, though, when they were a legitimately great team.

Wade’s knees were shot and it became obvious in that playoff series that he was done as an impact player, which is why LeBron ditched him and that organization right after that series.

11 years later and LeBron still remains a top player while all of his contemporaries are long gone.

SGA does it with quickness while driving to the hoop. Dirk just popped a squat and his 14 inch vertical leap plus immense size to do it. And had to usually have his back to the basket or it would get swiped away.

How dare you compare the two.
