Is that T'amu guy still on the roster ? Haven't heard a word about him. I thought he may have been a good pick up.

2nd & 2: splits a double team to get the stuff with DJ taking out the ankles. His best play by far.

3rd & 2: They ran up the middle, Ford not involved.

4th & 1: - FB up the middle, Ford grabs him, pulling him backwards into the backfield, but it's too late. Forward progress gives him the 1st down. Ford came from the side/behind. Not in on initial tackle.

1st & 10: Shotgun, Ford goes in coverage on RB, pass thrown to other side of the field.

2nd & 5: Ford stood up by RT. Zombo gets into the backfield, wraps up QB on a keep for 2 yard loss. Ford stops fighting. OOOPS! Zombo ****s up, R\QB breaks tackle, runs for 1st down. THIS IS DEE FORD'S WORST PLAY, BECAUSE HE GAVE UP WHEN ZOMBO HAD THE TACKLE. BUT IT IS BY FAR A WORSE PLAY FOR ZOMBO.

1st & 10: Ford pins his ears back. Bull rush. Drives the RT back into Boykin, who overthrows the endzone. Okay, that was impressive and WAY better than I gave him credit for. Won on strength. Also, I thought Peters was beat on this play. ironically, a good throw would have been ANOTHER endzone interception. Peters is so ****ing good.

2nd & 10: Dee Ford gets into backfield unimpeded. Christine Michael is already gone, running DIRECTLY AT ZOMBO for another big gain. I'm noticing a pattern, here... Zombo got beat at the POA and pushed seven yards out of the play. Terrible.

3rd & 1: Ford bites HARD on the PA fake. It was the simplest Madden play call ever. Run left. Then, fake the exact same run play, bootleg back around. Ford bit on it. Holding call saved a big gain.

3rd & 11: Ford is gone. DJ Alexander on a blitz. Pressure, incomplete. Chris Jones slaps the entire seattle offense with his huge dong.

4th & 11: Punt.
Good write up man. Rep. This is what I come to CP for. For guys like you that take the time to analyze something instead of arbitrarily saying he looks like shit. Having read that, I feel a little better about Ford, other than the play that he quit on. That one pisses me off. You play to the whistle for just that very reason. The play isn't over until they blow the whistle.

I didn't watch Ford nearly as closely as you did, so I won't debate the rest of your observations.

However, on this play, Ford showed a total lack of situational awareness.

Ford doesn't grab the runner.
He attempts to grab the ball and knock it out.
Had he actually grabbed the runner and pulled, he almost certainly holds him short of the marker.

I know they preach turnovers, so I'm sure that's why he was attempting that, but like you said on 4th down, get the dude on the ground.

Spotrac still shows them over the cap.

I'm still hoping that they restructured Streater's deal somehow. Once all those incentives were considered LBTE, they needed to figure out a way to re-do that deal to something that made more sense for them.

Then again, it's possible that the NFL adjusted the nature of those incentives; a $4 million swing would be about right if they decided that Streaters incentives are more accurately considered UTBE.

It's a fair question for any star that is supposed to be the leader of the team. Looking back I kind of get the feeling that he never saw KC as home, and was always going to go to the highest bidder. Is that not exactly what he's doing now?

Is it not fair to expect the guy this team drafted and made the highest paid safety from day one to not be completely unreasonable with his second contract when he never really lived up to the first? I feel like some of you are missing the facts. He's been a dick about this. Plain and simple. When push came to shove the organization didn't make the "business decision". Why shouldn't we expect the family mentality to be reciprocal, or even appreciated/acknowledged?

Eric Berry clearly doesn't give a **** about the Chiefs. Guys like Charles and Hali do. It's dissapponting, but I still love him and I hope he gives us his best year yet before he goes elsewhere to get paid. My perception of him has quickly changed over this offseason though, and it's honestly not due to bias. I'm genuinely shocked at how he's handled things.

I can't wait for Berry to come back and have another All Pro season to shut you guys up. The Berry hate on here is ridiculous.

I just saw the Chris Jones gifs from Seth Keysor. The guy is throwing around NFL OL like he did in college.

He's going to start soon and slower or weaker OL are going to struggle against him. It's absolutely crazy that he fell to the 2nd rd. He looks like a top 20 talent.

I don't doubt that he will, considering he'll be playing for that loaded contract another team will give him
