Personally I think Newton is completely done, his shoulder is ****ed beyond belief, watch the way he throws.

I feel like Winston is a better project than Newton at least he isn't damaged.

They're options are very limited, it's like Newton or Winston or some scrub that will win them 2 games.

I don't get why Cam wasn't a hotter commodity. You would think he could at least get an average defender or 4-5th round pick for him?

IMO he has a way higher upside than a lot of QB's that have signed fairly big 1-2 year deals recently.

Agreed - I would be much more fearful of a chargers team with Winston, than Newton.

Winston can get hot and beat anybody.

He has an insane contract and he hasn't thrown the ball well in a couple of years. He's beat up from all the running he did and his shoulder is not the same anymore.

Must be the injury because his contract is not insane by QB standards. $18m base and $2m option.

He will need to work out and do more then just pass a physical. But the thing about trading for him is that you take his contract. I am sure anyone is not willing to pay that price. But if he shows he can run and comes at a discount.

This is Lamar Jackson's future in 4-5 years.

Can't sustain consistent RB-type hits at the QB position and have a long career in the NFL.

And Lamar Jackson is physically smaller than Cam Newton.

On the positive side Lamar is a lot quicker and tries to dodge hits, while Cam a lot of times just ran people over.
