Dee Ford's First Step

is amazing, and probably the best part of his game. It's fun to watch it on tape, and I can't wait to see it at arrowhead.

I do have a concern, though. He is very eager, and sometimes too eager. I hope he can find a balance between a great first step and not jumping offsides.

Does anyone know, or know how to find, his penalty stats in college? In the airport otherwise I'd look it up. I'm curious if this was an issue of his, or just something I was sensitive about when watching his games. I'm hoping it's the latter.

Be careful. Limbs are dangerous. I would suggest finding a tree branch that's more solid.

To your point... that's a tall order. Houston is a very good pass rusher, but he's also very good against the run and in coverage. Rare to have an OLB with that kind of skill set. Which is why he is absolutely priority #1 for us.

How about when the tackle gets his hands inside Tamba’s shoulder pads and yanks him down to the ground, basically horse collar tackling him? Even that doesn’t bug me up until a Chiefs lineman grabs a hand full of jersey and gets called for a drive killing holding penalty. That’s when I go straight from idle to redline. If the refs are calling a straight game I'm fine with the holding, but it seldom seems to work that way.

Yeah it's enough to drive a man to full blown lunacy.

The TC vidvideos I've seen of him are kind of amazing. He is fast as hell. In don't know if he'll be better than Houston but he'll be in good.

Can Dee Ford use his speed as an inside rusher or is he strictly an edge guy?

phone booth quick or run around only?

His first steps? He did a swim move to get past his Dad. The dog was holding onto his diaper, but he used his power to break away and get to his Mommy's tit for breakfast.

Very good chance no-call false starts caused by Dee Ford are going to be the new Tamba Hali chokehold.

It looks like he was maybe just timing the snap count because he went even before the ball was snapped.
