All of that before the first snap. Drops then killed us today as much as anything. Had the Chiefs won, I think it would have been more impressive than the loss is depressive. You can't overcome all of that. When Fisher went down, our chances dropped a ton. We could have done it with a few changes (would have loved to have seen the game with the interception in the first half nullified by a terrible holding call). Still, nothing was going the Chiefs way going in.

I guess Mahomes reinjured his toe early on. He had those 1st couple of scrambles for great yardage then he just stopped. There were a lot of 1st downs that could have been picked up if he had been able to keep scrambling like he started out.

No screens or Wide Receiver screens.
No slants or really short routes.
No ability to get pressure on Brady

I saw nothing different in the 2nd half than the 1st except the Refs calmed down on us

The chiefs failed to adjust and got their shit pushed it. I honestly expected this crushing defeat last year so after securing a trophy im not devastated. However i did have some concerns that we were returning almost the entire sb team, frankly we werent uber talented across the board last year. However the posistions i was worried about returning really didnt affect this game much.
