Alexander would be the pick. I would also be tempted to pick Willis McGahee before Peyton, who is going to have a big time year if Losman isn't a total waste of skin. Priest is going to lose too many carries to LJ. |

I fully expect him to get 25 touchs a game. Having said that, I would go with Alexander.

I guess it depends upon how your scoring system is set up. If it's QB-friendly (6 pts per TD), Peyton would be tough to pass up.
Regardless, you are in a position to pick either the best QB or 2nd best RB available, and the dropoff in either position by the time you pick again will be considerable. If you take Manning, you would have to settle for a Rudi Johnson or Ahman Green at RB. If you go with Alexander, you will probably end up with a Brett Favre or Matt Hasselbeck at QB. Personally, I would lean towards Manning since he is more likely to have a handfull of huge games than Alexander. If you're light in other areas of your lineup, a strong QB performance will still get you a win. Regardless, Priest shouldn't even be a consideration due to the durability issues and not knowing how many carries LJ will get. |
