Nebraska couldn't cover its expenses without the Big 10 revenue sharing.

They're infinitely better off in the Big 10 - they're not ever going to be a powerhouse again so the more they can depend on the conference for revenue, the better.

Yeah, they cleared like $12M net last year IIRC but that's also 10% of their expenditures - they spent over $120M last year.

Their share of a $60M TV deal is nothing to sneeze at considering their share in the Big 12 was zero.

The NCAA and Big 12s ruling on partial qualifiers is what killed Husker Football.

Because hes from Nebraska and won a national title as the QB. Husker fans are reeruns though they want Trev Albert's who ran UNO into the ground to be the AD.

Frost has failed because unlike the CUSA you can just out athletes on the field and outscore the other team 50-48 in the B1G. Hes done a great job recruiting his in game coaching sucks ass and hes stubborn as **** bringing all of his CUSA coaches to Nebraska and refusing to fire them.

Nebraska football was hurt when Pinkel turned Mizzou into a legit college football program again and kept the Missouri high school pipeline turned off.

Nebraska really to win at the highest level, California is the recruiting state for them. That is where they got alot of their high end talent in the hey days. It wasn't Texas, which all the Big 12 honks say it was, it was not recruiting California like they did.
