If you look really close to the ass end of that thing you will see three small nodules protruding. Those remain in the outward position for about 48 hour after giving birth.

I'm not sure why, but the larger spiders like tarantulas don't scare me. I guess it's because all the ones I've seen and held are really laid back and cool. The smaller ones that run around everywhere I don't like though. That one looks to be just a larger version of the running around ones, so I would probably kill it.

Spiders have a bad rep.... just because they're not warm and fuzzy.... they get squished despite all their natural contributions to pest control.
But yet caterpillars are actually destructive as hell to plants, while remaining "cute" because they're shaped differently. Silly humans....
