Several players came close to breaking Marino's record. Less than that number came close to breaking Manning's rookie record.

Which will be harder to eclipse?

There's one game left, I am going to add the average rushing and passing yardage to their current numbers.

Brees record will be broken every other year with all of the rule changes and everything. Cam's will hold for a long time.

Brady and Rogers are very close NOW. If they rest Brees next week and Brady and Rogers have big games...One or BOTH could break Brees's record yet this season.

Newton's record won't be broken for a long, logn time.

Gaz option, because in today's videogame flag-football NFL both of those records will go by the wayside. The league is now full of freakishly athletic players at both the QB and WR position, the rules are set up to make it a passing league (defenders can't defend, or even breathe on the QB), and these young QBs come into the league after having run a pass-oriented spread offense for years in college and even HS.

Passing yardage now just doesn't mean what it did then.
