We have the MVP.

We have the league's best WR and TE.

We have two new Hall of Famers.

We were one Patriots officiating call from the Super Bowl.

What a remarkable year for the Chiefs. Stunning, really ... but not completely surprising.

Mahomes winning the 2018 MVP couldn't have been expected by anybody, though. Plus OPOY. Plus FEDEX Air Award (or whatever they call it). Plus the AP QB Award. Plus the PFWA MVP. Hell, if he'd entered his dogs in Crufts, he'd probably have won that, too.

I'm now going to go back and watch Game Pass and re-live the first game vs. the Rivers (Mahomes' first legit NFL start), I'm gonna re-watch the day Mahomes shocked the Stoolers on their own turf, and that time Mahomes came back in the 4th Q against the donks (who threw the kitchen sink at him), and the night we demolished the Susanna Hoffs (as they were being touted as a major threat) ... every single game. And I may watch them twice in slow motion because it was one of the most memorable seasons in our storied (and troubling) history.

But enough about last year. We came up short. Should have won the AFCCG because we're a better team than the Cheaters. Time to straighten out our issues, let Wally "tighten some things up", and get this thing done.

Go Chiefs!

We got an MVP quarterback, beat the Colts/Luck in the playoffs, and finally reached the AFCCG. DEMONS DEAD!

Chill. This was a very important season and totally changes the tempo and trajectory of this franchise. It’s hard to quantify how important this season was.

2018 was Part I of a new era. We flexed our muscles over our rivals (AFC West) killed the village bully (Colts), and have the brightest young star in the league on our side. I am stoked for the future

That's a great question.

It appears that Abner Haynes was the AFL MVP in 1960, and Len Dawson was the AFL MVP in 1962. No Chief has ever been the NFL MVP.
