OK so my wife and I are getting close to buying a new home. What are all the bills one pays when a home owner. I'm bad because my current gig is sweet, I pay nothing.

House Payment
Property Taxes
Insurance
Heat/Power
Water/Sewer
Trash
Cable
What else am I missing?

Now that I've calmed down, I get that. I think things would be different if my parents weren't divorced and my dad's health wasn't in rough shape.

But Skip shouldn't generalize, which is the basis for my rant.

I've stayed with my folks between assignments to different cities when I was working for the Gubment. I think Skip in his own way is chastising him and telling him to start growing up. GoChiefs may eventually come to the same conclusion someday. Myself, I couldn't wait to move out once out of HS. It was time. I got along great with my parents but it was time.
