My offseason plan...version 2.65 build 3

Here's what I would do based on current events...

1) Sign Jeremiah Trotter.

2) Sign Ken Lucas or Samari Rolle.

3) Trade our 2nd-rounder to Miami for Surtain.

4) Trade down in the draft and take OLB Kevin Burnett and a WR.

Yeah, in a way I'm trying to simulate what I think they might do.

In my scenario, Warfield is on a 4-game suspension and then becomes the nickel.

I don't like 3 because I am afraid it will cause 4 to happen, not that their is anything in particular wrong with Burnett.

Not trying to disagree with anyone, but has Warfield's suspension been announced?

I recall Ivan Carter saying last season that he might only get 2 games. That was from the Carter Q & A and I don't think it is archived.

Hadn't run that scenario yet. I was thinking that we may sign four or five MLBs though seeing how CBs no longer have a place in the NFL. We could play a 4-7

You had me at Here's what I... then I thought screw it, I'm hijacking this thread to keep in line with the f*ucking with htismaqe theme. Actually though, I like 1 and 2 very much. But, 3, draft CB in the first(to play for warfield). Once warfield is back, back to starter unless rookie is a stud. Either/or one is starter/ one is nickle. Then draft said LB with 2nd rounder. It saves a little more money by not having to sign Surtain to hopefully get more help after June 1st cuts.

Honestly, there might not be any reason to NOT trade down if Rolle, Rogers, and Johnson are gone.

We could trade down, recoup picks, and still get a Roth or Pollack, or a WR...
