The latest 'predict the Chiefs' record poll.

Well, we're a month away from camp... how's it looking?

You know, I'm really liking the Chiefs against Denver this year. I think we sweep Denver and split with SD and Oakland.
We have talked of possible 3-4 alignments this year and I think we'll see a lot of it against Denver. We finally have the personell to take on Denver's misdirection plays.
Without effective LB's, Denver can kill you with the misdirection, as we have witnessed the last few years. Linemen simply can't be effective against them. Ex. Denver snaps the ball, T. Bell takes a step to his right, J. Allen takes one step to his left and he's immediately shoved to his left by Denver's OT. T. Bell then cuts back to an open right side or Plummer fakes the handoff and bootlegs to Allen's side.
In a 3-4, the LB's could effectively neutralize the cutbacks/bootlegs. I can see Denver struggling against good 3-4 defenses. Look at Denver's record against Baltimore.
BTW, I'm going with 11-5.

As long as we make the playoffs I don't care, unless we're 13-3 again. I predict 11-5 and western division champs.

My heart says 16-0, but I think somewhere along the line we'll get a bad break and lose a game. 15-1 will keep us humble, though, and better position us for that elusive first-round playoff win.

You mean look up the meaning of "Football", "touchdown", "defensive back", and "H-Back"?

"posting in" football topics is different than "posting something related to" the football topic.

Anything with 10+ wins that isn't 13-3 I'll be happy with.

Of course, assuming we make it into the playoffs with that record.
