I can't believe I sat and watched the last 55 min. of this movie. For some reason I just HAD to see how it ended.

There's a movie that was made in the mid 80's about a kid from Arizona who wins a surfing competition at a local waterpark and gets a trip to Hawaii as a prize. He gets to Hawaii and his surfboard is immediately stolen and the locals don't like him. This is all I remember because I walked out of the theatre at that point. It's the only movie I've ever walked out on. I can't remember the name of it unless it's "That Shitty Surfing Movie That Really Sucked" or something like that. Anybody remember this?

I remember that, the kid gets the local anti competition beach hippy to teach him how to surf and gets screwed at the end by the punk ass ultra surf dude, but they took pictures.

I loved that movie.

I loved Popeye as a kid. I think i actually saw it and Flash Gordon (another guilty pleasure of mine) in the theaters about 3 or 4 times when i was like 9 or 10. Popeye was actually the film that sank Robert Altmans career for about 10 years or so because it was a huge financial flop, but its actually not that bad.

Ishtar is another film i saw in the theater and ill stand by that film to this day. I actually think its very funny. The parody songs in it are true genious. The performances by Beatty and Hoffman crack me up everytime. It needs to be re-released on DVD special edition so it can get a 2nd chance on life.

My wife says Vanilla Sky and Dr. T and the Women are the worst movies she's ever seen. They're fairly recent too.

If David Lynch burns in hell forever it will BEGIN to pay him back for assraping the greatest science fiction novel of all time into that steaming turd of an alleged movie.

Yep, Dune was awesome. It's not my favorite all time but it's up way there on my list as a novel and as a series. That movie was such a bad version of the story...I wasn't that disappointed again until Starship Troopers came out.

Mercifully, I never read Starship Troopers prior to seeing the movie. As a result, I actually enjoyed the movie. But I realize I wouldn't had I read the book.

lol, i remember it, they play it on the sat/sunday matinee's from time to time. Doesnt he end up working for some guy that makes surfboards or some shit?

The Ladykillers is pretty much the worse movie I seen in theaters and that I walked out on. Popeye on the other hand is just a disturbing movie.
