Don't count on it. Carl said the Chiefs won't be very active in FA this year. They just will decline to execute the renegotiated contracts they prepared "just in case". We'll be right near the new higher salary cap.

This is assuming that the restructures weren't conditional, though. As in, "hey Tony, we need you to restructure, but only if the CBA doesn't get extended". Some of the contract stuff they did won't be needed now, meaning there could be less cap space than we think.

$15M under now. Warren saves another $7.6M if his deal voids, even re-signing him will save a few million. Plummer, Smith, Bailey, and Wilson haven't had their deals touched yet.
