Surprised there is not more concearn regarding Herm

Let me preface my post by saying I am jets fan and I think we are going to struggle mightily this year (I am not pounding my chest or anything).

But given how knowledgable KC fans are, I am surprised there isn't more concern about Herm running your team. I know pre-season is only preseas-n but let me tell you that your lax effort the other night is an clear sign of things to come w/ Herm. Your team will seem unprepared and make stupid mistakes and it will be frustrating to the fans. That being said, thhe gets his players ready to play in big games. But for the most part, you will be frustrated. The sooner Herm leaves KC the better b/c he is absolutely awful at developing young talent

Come on Lester.

Just pat us on the head and get it over with.

We love being told how sorry Jets fans feel for us.

So do you also give him credit for taking the Jets to the playoffs 3 of 4 years before last season's collapse?

On opening day, the talent levels were not THAT different. YEs, I'd have goven the edge to KC but slightly.

Listen, Herm may improve. He wouldn't be the first to impove on their second job. the fact that he named LJ the starter right away was a smart move IMO and something he was unwilling to do in NY, although when he took over Martin was in his prime so it isn't a fair comparison. All I'm saying is that I haven't seen much concearn and trust me: there is reason to be conceaned.

I don't think there was anyone out there on the market for the Chiefs to hire that wouldn't have caused some concern.

Oh where, Chiefs brethren, would we be without Jets fans here to look out for us?

Eh, aside from the fact that every tenth word out of his mouth is "obviously" in his press conferences, I've got no problems with Herm. You still haven't addressed the fact that he took you to the playoffs 3 years out of 4. That's better than what DV was able to do here, and we (arguably) had more talent to get it done.

I'm concerned with what you're doing to the English language.
Wont someone think of the vowels and consonants?

We've all seen the draft, we all know how positive Jets fans are about everything.

I think we're the ones who should be offering you pity on your impending 4-12 season.

Yes but not as much as I thought I would if you told me the Jets would make the playoffs 3 times in 5 years. In general, the Jets were never better than the 4th team in the conference. Also, he took over a talented bunch (similar to what he hisdoing now) so a few playoff appearances were to be expected.

He has the talent, all he has to do is motivate them and from what I can see, the team is motivated . Well maybe except for Sims and Siavii.

Jets fans 'know all' about football having one A SINGLE SB too.

Herm will be fine here with a much better organization than NY Jets.

last year at this time, the site was overrun with Jet fans. They were going to kick the Chiefs' asses & a favorite for the super bowl.

What a difference a year makes
