You know, I agree with most of these. Although I've never turned on heated seats in my personal car. My wife's car has them and she turned them on one day without my knowledge. I thought I was having an aneurisym, or something.

Safety. They claim that it prevents accidents. Perhaps so, but it also decreases fuel efficiency.

Wait until the car gets old and that crap starts screwing up. The stupid door ajar sensor on the sliding door of my 12 yr old van went haywire a while back, every once in while just out of the blue the damn thing would start chiming and even better, the interior lights would flicker on and off. Needless to say, it was quite annoying. For cryin' out loud, what kind of dipshit needs a sensor to tell him if the door isn't shut anyway? Look in the ****ing rear view mirror for god's sake.

For most of this, you can thank DOT (Department Of Transportation), NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Association) and other similar organizations.
They’re not do’n their job if they aren’t force’n stupid requirements meant to save the dumbasses of society at the expense of increased auto prices.

You probably have the ability to turn both the autolocks and the seatbelt chime off. Call your local dealer's service department and ask them how to turn them off.

Your mom is like a flat tire...when she gets low from carrying all that extra weight strangers will stick their "hoses" in her and expand her frame... sometimes causing her to tear or rip. Oh yeah, and she likes to be cleaned well before she gets a "rim-job"

No one likes a ripped or torn tire.

Or check your owner’s manual.

I like my auto on lights, but hate daytime running lights. I could care less about heated seats, I want seats that cool me off more then anything (and I know some cars that have that). I have a dashboard, I can see when the door is open just by looking at it, and I have to because my son doesn't always close his door hard enough.

Though the feature that would really suck is on my Mom's car, when it sprinkles or rains outside the cruise turns off...
