I think you will find that Fortis aka Assurant Health will have the best deal. State Farm agents sell it. We have our health insurance with them and they are fine. They actually have a policy just for your situation too.
I agree that $350 for cobra is a deal. When I left Turner I was paying that much JUST to cover my wife under COBRA while she went thru some additional underwriting. My family policy (self insured) runs me about $350/month and we have a $3500 family deductable. After that everything is covered 100% DT |

IMO $350/month for comprehensive coverage isn't a bad deal, and it's a great deal if you currently have or have ever had any major health problems.
