A little Holiday Poem...This ones for you FAX

Twas the night before Sunday, and all through S.D.,
Not a player was sleeping, not even L.T.
The Chiefs were coming out from Kansas City,
And as bad as they've played, I have no pity.

You see one of their players named Tamba Hali,
Tested his luck with the Chargers Greatest RB.
After the first game he said they were soft,
L.T. laughed and snickered, then he just scoffed.

Chargers fans knew that this just wasn't true,
They looked to their leader to see what he would do.
Tomlinson said don't listen to his stupid chatter,
Hes a dumb rookie, his opinion doesn't matter.

Chiefs fans rejoiced when they heard the good news,
That Shawne Merriman's ankle had quite a large bruise.
Number 56 assured us that there was no reason to pout,
Because for the night game he would turn the Lights Out.

Now we are reminded of the QB that causes shivers,
He's better known by his true name, and that's Philip Rivers.
He eagerly is awaiting Sunday Night's Game,
So ready for his recievers he called out their names!

"Now Gates, now Neal, now VJ and Hakim!
On, Keenan! On, Parker! On Manu and Kassim!
To the Fifty, the Thirty, and the Red Zone!
The Ten, the Five, and the END ZONE!"

After the offense builds up a lead,
The Defense will swoop in with their Quarterback reads.
Trent Green will air it out, but he will stammer,
As he is picked off bye McCree, Florence, and Jammer.

Then the Chiefs will try to go to the ground,
Its very apparent they have one of the best running backs around.
They'll give it to Larry Johnson, their stud young gun,
But big Jamal Williams will stop him to chants of "YOU CAN'T RUN!"

After the game, the Chiefs will be sent packing,
With memories of the "Sha(w/u)n(e)'s" constantly sacking.
In the streets of S.D. we'll have such a party,
Chiefs fans will realize this is the year of Marty!

We'll be off to the playoffs, while the Chiefs are at home,
Watching the Bolts get through the playoffs, but not at a dome.
Theres this little thing called Homefield Advantage,
All other AFC teams will not be able to manage.

Throughout the entire season they put up a fight,
They practiced and played well, now everything is going right.
To the rest of the teams the Bolts will look far out of sight,
as they yell, "Happy Playoffs to all, and to all a Good Night!"

I wrote this myself and first posted it in the Chargers forum, but I was thinking about you Fax when I wrote it (sorta). Have fun calling me a bandwagon fan.

Matt

Buck you do realize that Tamba never said the Chargers were soft. He said they were a finesse team there is quite a difference.

For many many years... there were no Charger fans.
Now they are kinda good, they finally fill the stands.
The Chargers are the joke of the NFLs AFC West.
And you have Marty... in the playoffs, he chokes best.

Said the moron media to the NFL Fan
Do you see what I see?
Do you see what I see?
In Southern California, NFL Fan
Do you see what I see?

A team, a team
Playing in the west
They look like they might be the best
They look like they might be the best

Said ChargerFan to his only friend
Do you hear what I hear?
Do you hear what I hear?
Here in San Diego where we live
Do you hear what I hear?

The wheels, the wheels
On the wagon that we drive
The bandwagon has come alive
The bandwagon has come alive

Said the KC Fan to ChargerFan
Do you know what I know?
Do you know what I know?
About Marty in the playoffs, ChargerFan

A coach, a coach
Playing not to lose
He will bring you sadness and blues
He will bring you sadness and blues

Hey, Mr. BuckinKaeding. Just got back online. Had to go have my spermcount checked. As usual, it's way too high. As for the poem, that's pretty darn good in my book. Very nice. You should be proud. Maybe your aunt can needle point a sampler with that.

But for the record, I never called you a bandwagon fan. In fact, I don't think we would have had any problem at all if you hadn't referred to me and my fellow Chiefs fans as "cockstain". Were I come from, those are writin' words.

Cool. I just wanted to make sure that none of that Bandwagon Hostility is shooting my direction. Anyways, good luck this weekend.

Same to you. Here's to a competitive, well-played, injury free game.

Not sure the Chiefs can live up to the competitive part, but there's always hope.

We're bringing the "93" team back through a time machine?

Well hell, if we're using a time machine, we might as well do it right, and bring back the '69 team.

69, the greatest number ever!
