Chiefs Off To Bad Start Already?

Bowe not signed....ok not unlikely to not have your #1 pick signed byt camp day. Although I can't imagine for the life of me why he isn't singed.

LJ Holds Out.....This is what burns my ass. He has earned his money. He is one of the best RB's in the NFL. We have a new QB, new OL pretty much and the one All-Pro aside from TG on our offense is holding ut cause ceepee wants to play God?

Carl has done some good things but this is just another sign that he only cares about $ and not winning.

Someone please tell me has LT ever held out?

VARSITY
Not bothering me this year. Do you really think Bowe being in now or in two weeks in going to be the difference in whether we make the playoffs? First year WR's rarely make a huge impact. Bowe will be a good reliable WR in the NFL but not a super stud.

Doesn't matter if LJ is in camp or not. As long as he's in shape and gets signed before the pre-season games he will be fine....If he's not traded.

The world is over.

I can't believe you even posted this. It has been one of the best off seasons in recent memory. Not many 1st round picks are signed, and the LJ thing was just going to happen. The guy has had a chip on his shoulder since he was drafted.
Now, we finally have a black coach that can understand him.

And CP will be stupid enough to place an old, broken Priest Holmes on the field if it comes down to who has the bigger ego. John Tait ring a bell?

Now please tell me how we don't really need Tait and such.....
I've quit worrying about things I cannot control. All it took for me was a frigid January night to become emotionally detached from this team. I want them to win but nothing they do is going to affect my life in a negative way. Add to this that I don't have a clue about professional sports contract negotiations. Being detached is quite liberating. You ought to try it.

BTW, the Royals pitchers were getting squeezed again last night. It's all Carl's fault.

I think he basically wants to play GM of a professional football team. You know, they do these things, negotiate contracts and what not.

Few injuries here and there make the best team a last place team.

Few improved players make a last place team a contender in the playoffs.

And then there is luck.

But if you don't plan to go to the playoffs you will look like we did last year when you find yourself in the playoffs. Like we did last year,
