Ref patting down Bronco player?

Ok, after the Chiefs game I was thoroughly enjoying the broncos getting whipped. I can't remember exactly, but it must have been when teams were coming out after halftime? or maybe at the beginning of the game.

Anyway, they show this bronco player coming out of a locker room and he holds his arms out to the side, then a referee comes up and does something to the player. You can't see because the ref's back is in the way of your view.

Did anyone else see this? What was the ref doing? Crisco check?

Anyone?

Hey, guys:

You've got to know when to hold 'em,
know when to fold 'em,
know when to walk away,
and know when to run.

And it would help a whole lot if we knew when to stop the run.
And the third-and-long.
And the opponent inside the redzone.
And the incredibly stupid turnovers.

But none of that rhymes and the meter is all wrong.

I need some gleam. What do I have to do to get a little gleam in here?
