The King Laughs at his non-believers

I'm reading that there is now a 10% administrative fee for those of you who cancel season tickets. Sorry Luzap.

Yep,and it's nothing new,my last year with tickets I asked a rep about this and it was explained to me.I still opted to miss a couple of the early installments and I still retained my same seats in 338 when I finally paid.

maybe that will increase the pressure on the chiefs to up their performance knowing that fans can just choose to stop showing up mid-season if they lay another turd.

The Chiefs have become ENTIRELY to comfortable with the guaranteed season ticket money and take the average fan completely for granted.

I think this may be for the people that pay an installment and later change their mind.

In the past the way I understood the agreement was that if you didn't pay the full amount by X date you forfited your seats and any money paid in will be refunded to you via mail in 4-6 weeks. I guess now they wan't you to pay an admininstrative fee before you are allowed to go off into the sunset. I would be shocked if this was applied to season ticket holders that don't renew and never pay any money for 2008 tickets.

I think the benefit here is that King Carl gets some help paying his office staff and making sure you renew you mean it or its going to cost you later.
It is pretty easy to collect money from anybody for any reason. Unless you go to court to prove you don't owe it, which cost more than the fee most of time, it will get sent to a collection agency.

You don't have to pay it all at once though. Sprint told me that they were going to lay me off, so instead of waiting around to be walked out I found a new job. The day after I quit I had a bill in the mail for over $2k in tuition reimbursment that I owed them. Had I not found a new job they would have laid me off and had to pay unemployment, but since I moved first I was out of the money.

Collections called my house, I arranged to pay $10 a month interest free and I have 12 years to go until Sprint is paid back in full.

Carl has all of us - in one way or the other - by the cajones.

In the preseason, if GW Bush would have mentioned to Carl that Bin Laden was interested in becoming a chiefs season ticket holder - Carl would have had an address for him within a week.

Damnit Carl.

It looks like the person that originally posted this issue on the coalition misread it. It looks like it only applies to partial payments being refunded.

Long live the King.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Heres a sobering thought:

The Patriots are going to the Super Bowl for 5th time since Carl has been in office for the Chiefs. They have completely rebuilt like 2 or 3 times since 1989.

The Carolina Panthers have only been in existence since 1995 and have already been to a Super Bowl.

But hey, take heart Chiefs fans, Carl once built a team that went to the AFC Championship in 1993!!
