My belated disappointment deserves its own thread.

I cannot believe the Chiefs turned down a 4th round pick for Greg Wesley. In a year they go 4-12.

Now we just have a pissy safety who hates this team and wants to play elsewhere. No one's going to give us anything for him, let alone anything as alluring as a 4th rounder, because we're not going to play him in 2008 unless, of course, we're stupid enough to try. Which, given that we turned down a 4th for him, we might be.

Jesus Christ hates the Chiefs.

Trading players to division rivals shouldn't have even been an option to begin with. Although Wesley sucks balls, he's still better than the sack of shit they have in Dungver. I can see why they backed out at the last minute. Had it been any team outside this division, the trigger would have been pulled in the first 5 minutes.

G Wes is the Heart and Soul of this Great Cheaps team-only two 1st rounders would be proper compensation for such a terrific future HOFer.

Hermy has a plan.

In my honest opinion, Herm was probably pulling for the pick, while Carl was against trading to a division rival.

The fact that it was Dungver is all the more reason to trade him for the pick. We get a 4th rounder, they get a worthless sack of shit. I can't imagine a better deal. I swear you could put Carl Peterson in an empty room, naked with 2 steel ball bearings...he would break one and lose the other one.
