Herm talks about continuity on the line that has nothing to do with being able to block the man in front of you damn! Why not make the move to Taylor or someone else it definitely couldn't be any worse. Richardson could move to guard and move Jones to tackle.

I suppose that's true, Mr. BigVE. The course of least resistance and all that.

But, Albert hasn't had another ankle or knee or liver or spine or anything else that I know of and he's handled the transition to LT and played pretty darn well, so far as I can see. Anyway you look at it, it's a net positive and a pretty big one. A high-quality, dependable, franchise LT is a huge deal.

He couldn't bring himself to go with a line without a little experience, even though it was/is clear that they suck balls.
Well, it still doesn't make a heck of a lot of sense, Mr. milkman. A flattened quarterback is still flat. Whether he got that way because the RT is young, or old, or bad, or a girl, or some kind of treasonous, traitorous, double agent, spy lineman sent over from the goats to infiltrate our squad and kill our passer, flat is flat.

I gave up on Herm's ability to figure out an offensive line last year during the Terry, Wilbourn, Turley fiasco. He doesn't seem to realize that the line has everything to do with how well the skill players can perform. I'm sure he understands it conceptually, but he doesn't seem to put sufficient emphasis on it to solve the problem. Either that, or he simply can't evaluate those guys.
