WTF? I just saw a BENTLEY badged as a HYUNDAI!

SO, I'm driving home and stop at a light next to a Bentley Continental GT. I was admiring it and noticed the HYUNDAI emblem on the hood.

WTF??!!!

Then I noticed the wheel caps were badged H and the read trunk. THere was an unusual script decal on the lower right trunk which said "Chrome"

I was amazed. It was a middle-aged man driving, looked to be Iranian or Indian.

THis bafles me.

But I Googled it and here's a blog post...another sighting, here in L.A. --same color. It must be the same car.

Just weird.

Off topic, but I was in southern California last month, and in Laguna Beach I saw a pure white Rolls Royce, brand new, parked at a meter. I'm generally not a luxury car afficionado, but that may have been the most beautiful car I've ever seen. It was breathtaking in its aesthetics.

I've read a lot of people with ///M Bimmers will rebadge them to be the lowest end of that model line. For instance from M5 to 528i or something.

It's done out of humility.

When we had the Mitsubishi account, I wanted to get an EVO7 and strip off all the flair and make it look like a regular Lancer.

lol, if humility is embarrassing someone because they underestimated you. I'd call that fun, but definitely not an exercise in humility.

I had a Suzuki Swift back in the day. Where I worked we got a new air compressor that had a 'chrome' 5hp badge on it which I removed and put on the back of the Swift.

lool

When I got my first car I wanted really just about anything that came with a super/turbo charger.

At the lot I ended up getting my car, the first one that caught my eye was a Mitsubishi 3000GT SL. There are 3 models of this car, this one is the 3000GT with all the flair, but half of the engine. I ended up finding one that's faster and more practical. An aftermarket turbo woulda been fun, but I want to put one on the car I ended up with too, anyway.

When I was 17 I had a lowered bug all done in primer, and had a chrome Jesus fish symbol where the "Volkswagen" script was supposed to be on the decklid.

I also had a license plate frame that said "Play with my dick, not my head"

OUTRAGEOUS!!!! To think someone could put an "H" on their car instead of a "B".

Now, before I go cure cancer and feed the poor - did any of those special, gorgeous, better than us people have the audacity to wear white before spring Tiny?!?!?

Fill us in on all the juice sister!

I'd own a Hyundai or a Kia before a Bentley. Bentley's are overpriced, and the other 2 are probably far more reliable.
