So is Quinten Lawrence the only real impact guy we drafted?

Tyson jackson might be quality DE but he's not a big sack guy. I guess he does get some tackles for loss which is good. Magee is a decent enough pass rusher for a DT, what will he do at DE in a 3-4?

Washington isn't an interception or turnover guy. Brown, nope.

Williams isn't a big play guy and the tight end has barely played. A kicker?

So the wide receiver is the only big play, burst type guy we got in the draft?

RD PK (OVR) NAME POS SCHOOL
1 3 (3) T. Jackson DE LSU
3 3 (67) A. Magee DT Purdue
4 2 (102) D. Washington CB Ohio St
5 3 (139) C. Brown OT Missouri
6 2 (175) Q. Lawrence WR McNeese St
7 3 (212) J. Williams RB Tenn St
7 28 (237) J. O'Connell TE Miami (OH)
7 47 (256) R. Succop K S Carolina

Of course he is!...Since I haven't seen any of the picks put on an NFL uniform as of yet I can easily say that he is the only real impact player we drafted, therefore you are a genious and should definitely create more threads with your brilliant takes!

No way. The Raiders and Redskins have been doing great by drafting the biggest names. Right?

we had the worst run D in the league (or close)....if Jackson and Magee aren't huge impacts upon that I'd be shocked.......

And Cassel, well...how much more impact can you want?

I am may need the term "impact player" defined for me. Anyways. we better never draft any more offensive linemen. Those bums hardly ever get TDs and I don't remember the last time a tackle had more than 1,000 yards rushing OR receiving.

He is huge and he was Mizzou's best o-linemen. I really think he got downgraded for playing in the spread. The splits MU's o-linemen lined up with were usually atypically huge.

No, but he would have been a hell of a value in the 4th round.

I'm expecting Brown to be the day one starting RT, and to be damn good at it.

Smarty pants.

Every player is important and "impacts" the game, but there are certain types of players that a team needs to be the game changer. Touch downs,Turnovers Sacks, Big kick returns,30+ plays etc.

I didn't say we didn't draft good players but you really need several impact players if you want to win in the playoffs. Yes, we need to get to the playoffs first.

Is that because you think he's capable or because McIntosh sucks?

Big fat competent linemen are force multipliers.

Day 1 starter? Really?
I was thinking he'd be more of a project who could contribute down the line maybe.

Well, I did say I expected him to be damn good.

The guy obviously has the size, and I suppose I'm biased by Pioli's good eye for linemen.
