When I said I would be OK with taking Eugene Monroe at #3
all I heard was that you don't take a right tackle that high. Does everyone still feel that way now that our franchise QB is a punching bag?

I think Pioli is doing a fine job, but my point is would you rather have:

A) Albert and Monroe as your starting offensive tackles with Dorsey and Magee as your defensive ends

or

B) Albert and Name the current POS at offensive tackles with Dorsey and Jackson as your defensive ends

Again, I like Jackson and think he'll be a good player. I also think Monroe may be better than Albert in the long run and Albert would have been moved to RT so you would have really been taking a LT at 3 and your RT would have been at 15 from the 08 draft.

Such ignorance. RTs have regenerative effect on the players around them. If we had Monroe, we wouldn't have to worry about injuries for the next 10 years.

Correction, if Monroe is at ORT and undrafteds Darryl Harris at ORG and Edwin Williams at C, Cassel doesn't get injured because the right side doesn't "ole'"
