If you vandalize a couple trees at an apartment complex what type of punishment could occur? My friend is freaking out about it and said some lady who works for the place seen it happen and yelled their names because they lived there last year and were often in trouble due to loud parties.

I'd say if they live to see the next 8-10 months without being executed they should consider themselves lucky.

Trees can be expensive. A decent tree can range anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand.

A small tree with a 4" base(depending on type of tree) can run upwards to $1500 to be planted. Add in the removal of a tree and rootball for both broken trees and your friends can be looking at a few thousand dollars worth of damage to the property. Maybe they should just let the Apt manager put a few thousand dollars worth of damage in their each of their cars and call it good.

I'm starting to get the impression that there just isn't shit to do in Waterloo. Police came this morning while he was asleep and I was at work and they left a note for him to call them before three. He called before he went to work so they told him to come to the station tomorrow. He heard tonight from the other guy that the lady is pressing charges on them. I guess they are also getting blamed for a lot more than what they actually did too.
