Anybody got any advice for a guy who is sick of working jobs and wants to start a legit career?

I have a college degree: BS. Theater (2007)
I have some (retail) sales experience.

was goin 10 mph, and all over the road woooohoooooooooooooooo!!!!! hit a vehicle but nothin was slowing me down, just keep on trucking in those elements

Alternatively, go get training to be a physician's assistant. Unless health care reform sends everyone to Mexican hospitals, it's a guaranteed growing career.

I'm a musician and an actor who just turned 30 and realized that he spent a whole lot of time and money going to college and working in and teaching music and now he isn't very marketable.

Truth be told, I think I could probably do just about anything that I really put my heart into, and actually like it. Just don't want to be "stuck" in production jobs from now on because I didn't plan on "rockstar" or "moviestar" not working out. At this point, I'm at a crossroads... Just got laid off from working in a factory (which I really hated) and want to get started on a real career. Like I said, I was seriously thinking about studying my ass off and taking the first of the actuary exams awhile ago. Also, sales, but at this point I'm not sure if I'm just saying that because it's the obvious thing, and maybe I'd be happier doing something else... Blah blah blah... Whine whine whine... So, enough about me.

Find a district or private schools in need of help. Work as an aid and see if there's tuition reimbursement opportunities somewhere to further your education.
