Only reason I know #1 is because I took film classes. I make no bones about it, I'm a contemporary movie guy. Said it many times before.
Come to think of it, I may have heard #2 but wouldn't have recognized it as I would have The Graduate.

I think it depends on your age. Wizard of Oz is known to every generation since it was made. GWTW, though, is pretty dated. I've seen it many times, but probably not in the past 25 years. I'm not sure if that list is meant to be best known or just "best". Edit: Thurman Merman has explained. |
