With our current OL even Brady, Big Ben or even Farve himself would suck.

cassel is just as good at singing as he is being a starting QB.
I tried to look for ANY highlights of the guy, just to show he could throw the ball downfield. This is what came up in my search:

All I know is that a QB should be elevating the play of his teammates. If the QB is so shitty that everyone else has to be extra good just to even things out, then it is time to find a new QB. As long as we have a noodle-armed version of Grbac as the "face" of this franchise, we are going to suck. That is just the way it is.

People can make excuses for Cassel, but there should be no excuses for the play of the QB. The QB is the leader of your team. He is the one that you look to, when things are looking rough. He is the one that needs to carry the team on his back. If you do not have someone like that or someone that has that kind of potential, then you need to keep looking.

Matt "I can't throw the throw ball and catch it too" Cassel is not the answer and he never will be.

I'm in the "Build The OL First" camp, Pam. Berry should probably be our first pick, but if we picked Okung (or Bulaga in a trade-down scenario) I would be very comfortable with it.
