I don't know why everyone around here has a meltdown when this is mentioned. Because it is mentioned. By nearly every single person who is even remotely aware or interested in football.

No, the issue is when people outside of KC who've probably watched limited tape, have a strong opinion. When they watch draft picks, that's a different story. They get paid to pay close attention. But tell me this guy's seen more than one Chiefs' game.

Like him or hate him, Bob Gretz, after he started writing independently, might be one of the best in the biz right now when it comes to Chiefs' football. And he said Albert will be just fine. I haven't heard many writers/experts/whatever that follow the Chiefes say anything but positive things about Albert at LT.

I heard Big Ben Rothlesshamberger isn't very welcome by the fans of the Steelers, maybe he should pack his bags.

None of which give two shits and a **** about the Chiefs. How much time do you think they spend watching the Chiefs? Seriously?

Until this team starts winning, most of these "experts" have probably watched a combined half-a-game at the most.

All the national pundits typically see are a few highlight reels, if that, and season stats. When they see 40+ sacks, they immediately assume piss-poor blocking. While that was the case, it wasn't from the left side. anyone who watched the Chiefs last year can tell you that. The OC and RT were massive problems; coupled with Cassel holding the ball far too long in many instances.

Completely agree with Dorsey.

The rest is just flat out underachievement...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

DJ screwed up in a 4-3 just like he screwed up in a 3-4

he has some success last year because he was basically a huge Strong Safety.

I think he's just making observations out of his butt and just looking at hyped up players not panning out like they are supposed to. Brian Brohm? wtf? Has he ever even seen the field? He's not a first round pick or anything, dumb. Brandon Albert? that's just dumb of him to say that.

but ya, the list is all former first round picks who aren't doing that great right now. What a lame, thoughtless list.

Well the guy who wrote the article also says DJ averaged 70 tackles a season over 6 years and DJ has played only 5 years and averaged 63 so ......

As for the DJ thing, he struggled in a few different versions of the 4-3 before being benched in the 3-4. That's not purely a system issue.

Anyone that puts Dorsey at 3 and Ghoston at 4 needs to pull his head out of his ass.

Ghoston should be Number 1. The guy has done absolutely nothing in the NFL.
