Everyone but Page at OTA's today...

Except For Jarrad Page

I posted this morning a report from the Kansas City Star's Adam Teicher that LB Mike Vrabel would be attending the voluntary portion of OTAs, which begin today.

Well, here's another surprise from the Star's Kent Babb: Brian Waters is in attendance as well.

Last year both players worked out on their own until the mandatory minicamp in June.

The lone Chief not on the field is Jarrad Page.

Page has yet to sign his tender but, as I've said before, I don't think that's too big of a deal. He was also the last to sign his tender in 2009 not doing so until May 29th.

So, (almost) all present and accounted for. Not a bad start, right?

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

That's a normal conversation for you?

I'm going to go ahead and put you on ignore if that is the case.

It is interesting to have both Waters and Vrabel in.One has to think that they have considered the possibility of reduced roles. It can't hurt to have them there. The page deal most likely matter much in one way or another.

hmm ... would be interesting to hear that Waters and Vrabel are both learning new positions and that's why they are in KC early.

i think Page isn't going to sign his tender at all ... i think he probably becomes an UFA in June and he is just gonna wait and take his chances.

Would you say that Waters deserved to make the pro bowl in 2008? I wouldn't.

Sorry, all I can remember from 2008 is Tyler Thigpen running around like an idiot and watching Herm Edwards stand on the sideline with a dumb look on his face. But if Waters was really that great that year, well then my mistake.
