I like Cassel, hate on him all you want, but it won't change my mind. I was on the fence in the beginning of the year, not now. I also, enjoyed reading the article, thank you for sharing!!

When did Disney start doing movies about guys getting free rides to Pac-10 schools, take five years to get a degree, get lucky enough to get drafted, ride the pine until starter goes down, move on to big free agent signing? Hell, Disney shot Bambi's mother for dramatic tension...Cassel's story just won't cut it for Disney - not enough edge.

I'll take Matt's "hard luck story of perciverance and triumph over a overactive urge to hug on everyone" any day.

Yeah, Cassel as Chiefs QB is indeed like a Hollywood script. I'm thinking of "Deliverance", and Chiefs fans are represented by Ned Beatty.
