Yeah, I mentioned in another thread that I'd rather us use a late pick on Cannon, who has cancer, IIRC, than on Powe or a remaining NT.

The kid doesn't have to play this year. Get cleaned up medically and be ready to roll come 2012.

More or less if I were drafting from that list I came up with, I would look to first draft those players with the asterisks....so basically they're my fav. players on the list I came up with. But take that for what it's worth. Everyone has different opinions on different players. Really I'd be fine with any combination of the players on that entire list to fill the rest of the Chiefs picks with. The've had a great draft on paper so far, I just hope this keeps up tomorrow. Something tells me it will though (fingers crossed for Powe especially).

Cannon has non-Hodgkin lymphoma which should be easily treatable (assuming they caught it quick early enough and reports I have seen say they have). There is a VERY high chance that he will be cancer free well before training camp.

He was projected to go in the 2nd round before this and now he could be a steal. I would LOVE to have him, I think he could step in at RT on day 1.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I would love Edmund Gates in the 4th. That would be amazing value. He would be an ideal slot wr and would make our offense ****ing deadly.

Pitty its cassel throwing to them all though...
