New Sports Authority Sign At Stadium Missing Something

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news...88/detail.html

DENVER -- Some Denver Broncos fans are upset about a new sign at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver.

The sign says "Sports Authority Field," but is missing the "at Mile High," which is the stadium's new name. It was changed earlier this month when Sports Authority agreed to buy the naming rights and Invesco gave them up.

Broncos fans on Twitter also don't like the color.

One said it looks more the Kansas City Chief's red than Broncos orange.

Another said, "What disrespect from @SportsAuthField and its designers!"

One fan complained about the quality of the sign.

"Good to see we've dropped the big bucks on a full color banner. That's like $100 at Kinkos," said a fan on Twitter.

Sports Authority Field tweeted that they like the new signs, "Signage has started to go up in the bowl. Lookin' pretty sharp."

Sports Authority says the new sign is temporary, until the new sign, which includes "at Mile High" in installed in a week or two.

Who owns the naming rights anyway, is it Clark? I've wondered about this for years hoping that we wouldn't sell out like that. There aren't many stadiums left that haven't.

The Chiefs are having a hard time finding anyone willing to put up the cash. Funny (to me) but true.

If they limit us to under 250 yards rushing, they should walk off the field thinking they won.

This isn't the same shitty Defense of the last few years. They have actually looked pretty god so far. We'll see once the real games start.

I kinda like "Doom and Gloom." Miller => Gloom doesn't make complete sense, but at least it's an actual phrase that exists outside of football.

Albert is one of those guys who takes 5 years before he starts playing like he means it. Richardhead is one of those guys who you wish after a game someone would switch antifreeze with his gatorade. But I am hoping they fix them before the season starts. I am sure they will wait until after Greenbay before they get serious with it.

It's the same players plus Broderick Bunkley, Von Miller and a rookie safety.

Scary.
