I'm rooting for the kid. Obviously.

And I think that if there was a year where we could take a risk on a high ceiling/low floor player like Poe, this was the year. IMO, there was nobody else on that board that we absolutely had to have.

For 3 years we've been clamoring for a nose tackle. Hopefully now we've finally got one.

The more I think about it the more I like taking a gamble on this guy. Stud NTs are hard to come by and if he pans out the defense will dominate. At this point you just have to put your faith in Romeos abilty to develop him.

I think with this guy the coaches will have to keep him on his toes and play tough every down. I think he needs to develop a mean streak and keep focused.
