Just heard we're scouting Glennon tomorrow

On ESPN radio they were talking about Mike Glennon and how he could be a sleeper. They said a handfull of QB needy teams will be watching and that teams could pass one of the top 3 in favor of taking him later.

Saw this tweet about it too.

Chris Steuber ‏@ChrisSteuber
I'm told that scouts from the #Bills, #Buccaneers, #Chiefs, #Jaguars & #Seahawks will attend the #NCState, #Clemson game on Sat. #CFB #NFL

Well, if Pioli is here, I can definitely see some Star Leuteliebust in the first and this asshole in the 2nd.

It is normal. All GM's and personnel people are scouting now and have been for a month or so.
Even if Pioli's job is in jeopardy he has to stay up on his trade for his next job. So until he is actually fired he better be out there doing his job.

Teams scout everybody. We scouted Andrew Luck and RGIII last year as well. I'm sure we were going to pick them if they fell to us!

Like Glennon is the only prospect at either school. NC State has a damn good corner that would look good in red and gold in the second.

This guy has barely any starting experience. And his completion percentage has taken a nosedive this season. 2nd round pick at best.

Pioli is friends with O'Brien so it makes sense the only QB he would draft has connections to the tree

1. Trade down with plans to take Glennon in the second.

2. Draft 5 teq.

3. Watch another team draft Glennon before KC.

4. Panic. Reach for QB.

5. Trot out Steele Jantz as the new Chiefs QB.

Who the **** are we scouting in this game besides Glennon? Clemson has a dman good RB and we'd be reeruned to take him. They also have a decent OT, but we have those positions plus Stephenson

David Amerson is the only real player outside of Glennon that I could see us scouting, but he's a first round pick. He had the best season ever by a college DB last year and he's followed that up this year with 4 INT's and 6 passes defended. He'll be a top 20 pick easy.

And these are Pioli's people doing the scouting.

Voila! There's your answer.

my goodness.

Scott Pioli is definitely taking that d-lineman from LSU and Matt Barkley will go on to win Superbowls for Jax.

If Pioli is here in January this place will be on suicide watch.

I'll probably take a break from this place for a few weeks if Clark keeps Pioli. I'll go on a spiritual journey in order to find out if I really have it in me to divorce myself from the Chiefs.

If Pioli is around, I really hope I do.

There won't be any "watch" to it. The "Pioli Signs Extension" thread will be an all-time meltdown.

I'll probably take a long break. They'll probably draft a QB #1 overall and lure us back in though.

Not if it's Mike Glennon.

There will be a lot of bitching and whinning for sure. Some will wait until the draft to see if Pioli selects a QB in the first and of course which one before making their final decisions. Especially considering there will be other steps along the way that will help determine when and or if fans start fleeing here. Sorry to those that have said they will still post here but you will get sucked right back in if you do that.
