One of our local insiders says KC interested in Reid

Hello,

I don't post here much, but I'm an Eagles fan. I share the misery of a terrible 2012 season with all of you. Anyway, one of our local insiders(that is very good friends with Andy Reid) reported that while everyone thinks San Diego is the leading choice for Reid, it probably won't happen. He said keep an eye out for the Chiefs. They like Andy Reid and are interested in him as the coach.

I was curious to see what KC fans would think of getting Reid. If you have any questions about Reid, fire away.

take care

By the way, if Andy Reid goes to the Chiefs, the same report said that Reid would likely bring Brad Childress with him as the offensive coordinator wherever he goes, and Marty Mornhinweg isn't going with him. Also Reid reached out with Juan Castillo to return to his staff. It was unclear as to return to offensive line or defense.

I'd rather go with "up and coming" than "past his prime," so he wouldn't be at the top of my list. That said, he wouldn't be at the bottom of the list either.

True, but the teams that can run the ball effectively in the winter months take some of the pressure off the QB.

This. You have to actually TRY to run the ball, it loosens up the d.

Personally I want us to go with a coordinator or college coach who has not ever had a NFL HC assignment. If we don't do that and go the retread route then I would take Reid.
