He is one of the top playmakers in the draft. At first overall it is pretty common that you have to take a QB, pass rusher, or CB to get a playmaker. So yes. If not Geno then I would be fine with him if he is deemed the BPA by Dorsey/Reid.

Since there is no Reggy White or Julious Peppers in this draft then I am fine with a corner just as long as they don't draft a lineman first overall. I am realy sick of watching the Chiefs squander picks on those positions.

While we don't know how Dorsey/Reid rank each player, the media has been creating the perception that there isn't a #1. People are easily influenced by the media. I don't believe that Dorsey/Reid haven't narrowed it down to a couple of players/positions to include Geno. I like that they are doing their due diligence and taking their time to open contract negotiations with their guy(s) of choice; however, in a sense they are playing along with the media and just adding more drama.

IMO they are going to wait right up until draft to announce their intentions even if they already have a player selected. Just to see if they can get a trade partner.

Every guy the media has hyped has fallen by the wayside. Joeckel was soft, Warmack was disappointing, Manti was laughable, Jones and Star couldn't even work out.

On the flipside, they said the corners in this class were weak and they're not. They said the QBs were weak and 2 or 3 of them had GREAT combines.

The perception of this draft is flat out stupid. The media talking heads are stupid.

And if Reid and Dorsey don't draft a QB, they're stupid too.
