Would they be smart to IR Joe McKnight? Let him get that knee fully healed up and see what he can bring next year.

Wouldn't happen. If he feels he's healthy and they tried to IR him, they'd get in big trouble with the NFLPA. He's a year removed from his ACL so he shouldn't need IR and he's been in the league long enough that he wouldn't allow a team to stash him on IR if he feels like he can still play.

Good point.

He's on PUP now though, no? Could they use that as a springboard to IR? And he still gets paid if the team IRs him, correct?

McKnight intrigues me with his potential, especially in an Andy Reid offense. We're pretty good to go at RB, but it would kind of suck if he didn't get a shot with us (and maybe I'm just going full Mecca here, remembering his USC days...).

Perhaps. Nico Johnson is a player I'll have my eye on tomorrow night.

Really hoping to see a positive showing from the O-Line and WR's as well.

I think Kyle Williams would make it over Wilson. Good value as ST/PR backup as well as slot duties on offense. My longshot hope is for Frankie Hammond to become a beast because he has pretty good measurables.

I'll say this: if we go a whole preseason without seeing Bray get to sling it once, I will become quite upset.

They gave him a whole quarter last week and squandered it by making him hand off the ball 80% of the time.

Warning to everyone in this thread, inccluding the OP: they're likely playing the 1s all 1st half, and 2s all 2nd.

You're not going to see a lot -- if any -- of Bray and Murray.

I don't think we see any Murray this prreseason. I'm guessing they are hiding him.

They'll probably mix it up with Daniel and Bray. Bray will at least get a shot against the 3s.

A figment of my imagination. Either way, the bitch sucks... a shade of what he looked like he'd become when he entered the league.

You don't want to see it, I want to see if the little **** can handle the NFL beatdown he'd get there. I hate gimmick players, so he better be dynamite on special teams.

I think Nico Johnson is a lock over Mauga. Nico is very very good on special teams.

I think Hemmingway makes it and Jenkins gets cut.

I also think McMillan goes to the practice squad and either Duvernay-Tardiff or Harrison make the 53. I think one of those guys could get picked up if they put them on the PS and aren't careful.

I haven't assigned Murray to the PS in this edition and I haven't cut him yet either... he's the one guy I left in limbo. All I know so far is that Daniel played fairly well in Week 1, Bray wasn't terrible, and we hardly saw Murray (concerning if he has a shot of being on the 53-man this year and not the PS).

I don't think Nico is a lock over anything. Mauga is outstanding on special teams, a big reason they signed the guy to begin with. I'm at 90% right now on Nico hitting the road, unless he shows more than he has over the next few weeks.

The whole Hemingway/Jenkins/Rest of the Shit heap competition is a big unknown to me. I haven't seen any single WR stand out at any point in a game situation that makes me say "wow!" I think Wilson looked ok. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine.

I think Tardiff is too raw to make the 53 this year, so far. Harrison's hammy problems aren't going to help him. McMillian is going to make this team for sure, at least with his performance thusfar.
