Congratz Dorsey, you suck.

You inherited a team that was a decent HC and QB away from being a playoff level team.

Reid arrived, wanted his QB and we made the playoffs.

It's been downhill ever since.

FA Losses: T Branden Albert, G Jon Asamoah, S Quintin Demps, DE Tyson Jackson, ILB Akeem Jordan, RB/WR Dexter McCluster, DT Jerrell Powe, G Geoff Schwartz, FS Kendrick Lewis.

We missed Albert at LT. Even though Fisher's play improved today, we still have no OT depth and were shredded at RT.

We missed Asamoah and Schwartz at guard. They might not be great but they are better than the scrubs you added off the street.

We missed McCluster in the slot, we had nothing but Avery today.

We missed Tyson Jackson, run defense along Dline was terrible.

You even made us miss Kendrick Lewis and Quentin Demps. Lewis was dog crap, but he's better than the nothing we have at backup safety now.

We missed Flowers whom you cut for money and didn't add anyone

We missed average Succop whom you cut for money.

You acted like it didn't matter who we lost because Reid/Smith were like Belichek /Brady and they would just find some way to win. They aren't.

Your drafts have been borderline terrible.

A steaming pile of shit is what you've built.

Congratz on your pending run to the 1st pick of the draft next year.

Oh, something else ...... **** you.

That's exactly my point. I don't get the criticism of the people we let go. Those were good decisions. The problem is the people we've brought in. Let's not overhype guys like Succup who was ridiculously overpaid when we should be criticizing picking up a guy like Santos. And to that end... let's at least give guys like Santos a few games before we know what we have.

By the time Dorsey leaves this team will have less talent that any KC team since the 80's...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Period.
We didn't HAVE to lose Flowers. As thin as we are in the secondary we could have used him today.

Succup doesn't even come in to play when your offense can't get in FG range.
Our line can't block. Smith was pressured on every damned pass play.
Our WR's either couldn't get open or dropped the pass after contact.

To make it all worse our HC/OC went full reerun today...

We could have avoided overpaying Albert and instead went with Stephenson or tried to draft a replacement RT/LT swing tackle in the later rounds. We had no choice but to cut Flowers given that we barely made it under the cap and I'd rather that money go to players like Charles, Smith, Berry, and Houston. Again, no problem with the guys we cut. We've got to do a shitload better with the guys we bring in.

I was not a huge fan of the Reid signing. Our line was not as big of an issue as it was Smith holding on to the ball, which may have been due to receivers. And our receivers were ****ing terrible. But let's be fair about something... this line looks a lot better if you slide Allen back to Guard and Stephenson at RT. This receiver core is a hell of a lot better if you add Bowe, let Avery play against the #2 corner, and add DAT as a utility option.

Every one of those names are "just a guy"s except Albert and Schwartz. Albert is an average LT and nothing more. Schwartz is just average and is injured already. The problem isn't who they let go, it's doing nothing in response.

Serviceable if unspectacular interior linemen, receivers, defensive backs are not that hard to find, but we don't have any of them.

I understand Reid and Dorsey are pure BPA in the draft, and long term that is the best plan, but it looks bad in the short term when you sign no one, you draft nothing at positions of need, and you go into the season with garbage practice squad type players at several position groups.

It's not about losing those players. It's about Dorsey giving us absolutely NOTHING from 2 of his draft classes.

Every team has to let players go because of the cap. The good ones replace them through the draft. Dorsey can't draft worth a shit.

It's not year two of a rebuild. We have a 10 year vet at quarterback that we got the same way Carl Peterson has been getting us quarterbacks for decades. No this is not a rebuild year it never has been a rebuild year.
